PEDRO BRINGAS is a Miami native and Los Angeles-based Director of Photography.
He has worked around the world – across commercial, documentary, music video, and narrative projects – for clients such as Amazon, Atlantic Records, Hulu, HBO Max, Nike, the NFL, and Universal Music Group.
His work contributed to the Emmy Award–winning sports documentary Unredeemable. In 2021, he was selected for the ASC Vision Mentorship Program, a prestigious initiative of the American Society of Cinematographers that recognizes emerging cinematographers for their technical excellence, creative vision, and leadership.
At Nike, Pedro helped define and scale the imaging framework for 360° video capture featured on nike.com, establishing production standards and training fellow Directors of Photography to deliver consistent, high-quality e-commerce deliverables at scale.
In 2024, he directed and shot Performing the System, a feature documentary that examines the work of artist duo Operator and the relationship between technology, performance, and human connection in an evolving digital landscape.
Pedro is also a co-founder of West of 20, a production company focused on music videos and artist-driven storytelling. Through West of 20, he has collaborated with artists including Charli XCX, Rebecca Black, and Magdalena Bay, overseeing projects from concept through post-production while aligning creative vision with labels and management.
When he’s not on set, Pedro can usually be found on the sand playing beach volleyball – still convinced his pro career is just one good tournament away.
